Serial Experiments Lain (2001 anime)

well, as i expected, it's painful to watch this anime. I would not say it's completely waste of time or overrated. It's just an unpleasant experience. I must admit that i was attracted by the title and the nice art cover of this anime. I wonder what is the story behind this and i went right into it. It's very hooking but I am not big fan of blood and killing so it's unpleasant to watch. Too much reality inside. Too much information , too much bad memories. In the end, i was just curios how they would end this. They made a happy ending after all. Huge message with possibility it could happen. Lain is a software that exist between the wired and the real world. She can manipulate the real world, she reset the real world at least and will stay on forever as she claims. She will be watching , and reset as she sees fit. Too much logical thinking , not really entertaining if you seek for fan service, and no brain-er entertainment.
