The Pretender (TV series)
This was one of my favorites from my teenager years. Well we did not get a very good closure on this one. We do not know any further details of the Centre. Jarod did not get to reunite with his mother in the end. We do not know what will happen to Miss Parker, Mr Rains, and Sydney.
The Spellbinder: Land of the Dragon Lord (Season 2)
Spellbinder: Land of the Dragon Lord is a teen, preteen and children's television series, and a sequel to Spellbinder. Both series deal with travelling between parallel universes. It was also novelized by the creators, Mark Shirrefs and John Thomson.
The series was filmed on location in Australia ("Kathy's world" and another parallel world similar to hers), China ("Sun's world") and Poland ("Ashka's world", as well as two other parallel universes). The show was a joint production between studios in the three countries, although the script and concept came from Australia, and the spoken language is English.
Another attempt to rule other world by Ashka is really interesting. She is too ambitious, fearless with her power suit. The character casting of season 2 is pretty good as well. Most of the Chinese characters are very interesting. Land of the Immortals part is very cheesy by the way with robots that wear sun glasses . They do punish Ashka lightly in the end , Sun just send her to a random world and left her with her power suit.
The Spellbinder 1995 (Season 1 )
Spellbinder is a fantasy teen drama/science fiction television
series, produced by Film Australia and Telewizja Polska in association
with the Australian Children's Television Foundation.
The series is a 1995 serial of 26 episodes, co-produced between
Australia and Poland.
Well, finally i had the time to watch the whole 26 episodes.
It was one of my early teenager tv series. I remembered that it was aired on the television. I remembered watching Paul get himself into the parallel world of the Spellbinders but stopped at half of the series. Still is awesome to watch now in 2018, Its still pretty much acceptable for nowadays standards.
The downside would be the hide and seek game between Ashka and the kids is a bit too much for my taste. Ashka should get punished for because she has done so much bad deeds. She even robbed the bank. Too bad Riana and Paul did not get to be together at the end. The show just ended with Katrina and the boys with the data to build the power suit which Paul's dad lost.
